What’s TRU? Tobacco. Reality. Unfiltered.
TRU is a movement for teens and by teens that helps prevent teen tobacco use in North Carolina. As a part of TRU, you’ll join others from around the state who are taking a stand against tobacco use. It’s easy to get involved. Just sign the TRU pledge saying you’re tobacco free. If you want to do more, spread the word and tell your friends to do the same. We want to get 5,000 teens to join the TRU Team.


The TRU movement is sponsored by the NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund. Keep a look out for TRU events happening in your area or at your school.
